*With Ann*

Ann was walking home, stopping at the door to a certain house. She walked up to the door and knocked.

"Who's there?" Someone called.

"It's me!" Ann called back. She looked down at the bag she carried in her hand.

The door swung open, and standing there was a squirrel with black tinted green fir, crazy hair, and bright green eyes. He was wearing a red button down shirt, and black jeans. He was smiling at Ann.

"Hey Anny." He said. Ann blushed. "Is everyone here already?" She asked.

The squirrel nodded. "Yep, Ash showed up a while ago with D and Cosmo."

Ann walked inside. "You were accepted, Alex." She said, moving her hair.

Alex nodded again. "I knew that already, they told me."

Ann pouted. "Why weren't you at the meeting?"

Alex shrugged. "I was busy, hun. Sorry."

Ann sighed, "It's okay."

The walked into the living room, where Ash, her sisters, Cosmo, and D were sitting around and talking. Cosmo looked up. "Hey Ann!" She said, and got up to give her a hug. Ann smiled. "Hey Guys."

Cosmo looked at the bag. "Oh my gosh, Don't tell me!" She squealed. "Is it...?"

Ann laughed, "Yes Cosmo, I baked Chocolate Chip."

Cosmo and Ash both squealed, holding their hands out like little kids. "Can we have them now please??"

Ann laughed and shook her head.

"Nope."

Ash and Cosmo dropped their hands. "Fiiine." They said in unison.

Ness, Ash's adopted sister, a cat in seedrian clothing stood up. "Guys, we need to focus."

Cosmo picked up Ash's littlest sister pamela and put her on her lap. "Focus on what, Nessie?" She asked. Cosmo was the only one allowed to call Vanessa "Nessie".

"The fact that next week, your going to go to school." Ness answered. She tugged at the rubberband around her ponytail.

"Cosmo's ready. We all know that." Alex said, shrugging.

"She's ready academically." Ness stated. She hated being interrupted.

"I'm pretty sure Cosmo's ready socially too. She's a great people person." D said, watching Pamela play with Cosmo's hair.

Ness rolled her eyes. "You guys don't get it."

Ash looked like she was thinking about something. Then she stood up. "What you're saying, is that Cosmo doesn't really understand what it's like to be in a classroom setting. Or the overall work. Correct?"

Everyone's eyes widened.

"Wow Ash, you think of that all on your own?" Alex said.

Ann hit him in the back of the head. "Don't be a jerk."

"I did actually. So shut up." Ash said, her yellow eyes glowing before she sat down.

Cosmo suddenly spoke,

"So Can we have the cookies now?"

Ann laughed. She handed the bag to Cosmo, who took out a cookie and started eating it right away. Ash grabbed the bag and took one out too. So did everyone else.

When Cosmo was done with her cookie, she looked around. Pamela had fallen asleep in her lap.

"You know what guys? I think I can do it. I know it won't be easy, and you're right about the fact that sometimes I get nervous in different settings, but I think I'll be okay. Meeting Adjourned?"

Ness nodded. "Meeting Adjourned."

"Great. Now get out of my house!" Alex said, laughing. Ann hit him again. "See you later guys!" She said, and everyone got up to leave.
