It was dark in the new school's auditorium, and suddenly there was a spotlight on the stage.

A tall jaguar came out, fixing his glasses. "Hello everyone." He said, picking up the microphone. "I am Principal Gejuar. I'm proud to see all your shining faces on this lovely morning, and am also very happy to announce that every single one of you in this room has been accepted." He looked down at his notecards, "And I understand that a few of you are missing who were also accepted. Ah well, we'll see them monday."
He moved a notecard out of the way, and continued, "Thank you all for coming to the acceptance meeting, and I'll hope to see your happy faces on monday. Have a wonderful day."
With that, Principal Gejuar walked off the stage, and the lights turned back on. The room filled with chatting again.

In the back of the auditiorium, a purple seedrian sat down in a seat. Cosmo sat next to her. "I think she's asleep." She whispered to a brown fox, called D. D rolled his eyes. "Ash...Wake up!" He said, nudging her.

Ash woke up with a start, jumping up and her hands ignighted with flames, "Ninjas!"

Cosmo blinked. "Ash, we're still here."

Ash laughed. "Oh," she blushed, "Riiight."

Cosmo laughed again, jumping from the seat and gliding down to the floor. "Come on, let's go!" Ash and D followed after her.

"Cosmo's excited." D said, laughing at Cosmo's enthusiasm.

"She should be. She hasn't been to an actual school in a while. And this is the first time I'll be in a school where they don't teach 'The proper way to sit in a throne'." Ash responded.

"They taught that?"

"Yep. Some people failed it too."

"How would they do that?"

"By refusing to sit on the throne."

D shrugged, "Makes sense."

Cosmo stopped at the school entrance and looked back. She noticed her friends were lagging behind, so she started to run back when....

OOF!

"Hey?!"
Cosmo rubbed her head, and looked at who she had bumped into. It was Tails. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She said, her face turning red. Tails rubbed his head too. "It's okay. Just watch where your going or someone could get hurt. Are you coming here too?" He got up.

"Yep. Me and my friends. Are you?" Cosmo asked.

Tails nodded. "Yep." He was about to walk off when he turned around. "By the way, my name is Tails. I don't think I know yours." He said.

Cosmo smiled. "Nice to meet you Tails, I'm Cosmo."

Tails turned and shook Cosmo's hand.

"I guess I'll see you on monday then." He said, smiling.

Cosmo's eyes lit up. "Okay!" She said, and Tails let go of her hand.

"Well, I have to go. I'll see you soon Cosmo." He said.

Cosmo answered, "Okay, Bye Tails!"

Just as the conversation ended, Cosmo remembered her friends. D and Ash were leaning in the doorway, giving Cosmo quizzical looks. "Making friends?" They asked at the same time.

Cosmo giggled. "Yeaaa..." She said, blushing.
